Advantages of Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breakers

The circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit overcurrent. Its main function is to cut off the current flow after a fault is detected.

Circuit breakers are more useful hardware mechanisms that replace fuses. The circuit breaker commonly used for PDUs is usually a Thermal Circuit breaker. Thermal circuit breakers trip when there is a fault in the circuit and cannot be reset manually until they cool down. The biggest problem with these circuit breakers is their tripping due to the change caused by the ambient temperature.

In addition to the thermal circuit breaker, there are also hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers. In addition to doing all the thermal circuit breakers can do, these circuit breakers have a structure that is much more sensitive and not affected by temperature changes.

The hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers available in our PDU range aim to protect IT equipment against overload. Contact us to examine the PDUs that are not affected by temperature and have sensitive circuit breaker function.
